You know when it’s time to find a new home for your loved one.
- You just can’t keep up with their daily care anymore, and neither can they.
- You’ve been worrying what happens if they fall again on their own.
- You can’t always stay home to keep them company.
- You still want them to be able to socialize and visit with relatives and friends.
- You know they’d be happier and healthier somewhere they didn’t have to manage themselves.
- You wish you had a care team you can talk with and count on.
Yolanda’s Home first opened its doors in 1985 to give seniors and their families a private care option with a personal touch and a family culture.
This doesn’t just feel like home. This is their home.
Making a caring home for your loved ones is what we do.
I was near despair until I met Yolanda.
—Jan Daffern (daughter)
Once I visited Yolanda’s Home, everything fell into place.
Welcoming and comfortable, Yolanda’s Home offers a full range of care services that support residents’ health and wellness, independence and quality of life, and family relationships.
Yolanda gave me solid guidance in all aspects of the process of moving Mom into a new phase of her life and maintained steady communication with me. Mom settled in right away and felt comfortable with the caring and consistent staff. Her special dietary needs were met with no fuss and if she had a special request, it was met right away.
Within a short time, Mom was more active and socially engaged and many aspects of her health had improved considerably. Mom especially enjoyed the bountiful array of beautiful blooms in the yard and watching the birds at the feeders right outside her window. She often remarked how lucky she was to live in such a beautiful and calm environment with such kind people. Best of all, both Mom and I were much less anxious and able to truly enjoy the last four years of her life.
